Shotgun Basics ClinicThis class is open to members and non-members. Preregistration required; no walk-ins. Covers shotgun information and use, safety, clay target shooting and common games. Classroom time is followed by on-field instruction. Learn how to mount and swing a shotgun and how to set up for a successful break with Certified Wingshooting Instructors. Some shotgun experience helpful but not required. Participants under 18 years old must be mature enough to follow safety rules and strong enough to safely hold and swing a 7-8 pound shotgun. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent. ASC Members: Classes are free. Practice rounds are five dollars ($5) for every 25 targets. TASC (16)You must have attended the September 3rd, 2022 event as a pre-requisite for this session. It is Part 2 of 2 class.
The focus of TASC (2-Gun Tactical) is the introduction, development, and practice of rifle and pistol skills that would be applicable in self-defense situations. TASC is a skills development activity, not a competition.
You must be present for the safety brief at 08:45 to be eligible to participate. There are no exceptions to this.
