The entire clinic - classroom and range time - lasts approximately 3 hours. We shoot rain or shine. Eric Callis - Basic Radio ClassThis class will be held at the ASC Lodge on Rueff Road. The class will discuss the capabilities of the Baofeng UV5R and Similar radios along with the Wouxun UVD1P radios (they are very similar to each other). We will walk the menu structure of the radios, discuss optimum settings, discuss accessories and antennas, and build a quick field antenna that will dramatically improve the performance of your radio in the field. Finally, we will do some field practice, so dress for the weather. |
